A year full of surprises!

After a year filled with all kinds of adventures in 2023, let's take stock before we head into 2024!

The first Sacre - PolyLAN

The PolyLAN is an event held every year at the Swiss Technology Convention Centre that brings gamers together for a weekend of fun. The event is divided into 2 parts: an 'entertainment' part, which is designed to be fun, and a 'competition' part, consisting of tournaments with prizes to be won.

Our year got off to a flying start with some fierce competition at the League of Legends tournament at PolyLAN#38. After exiting the Swiss round-robin phase in 2nd place, our French-speaking team made it through to the Grand Final of this year's PolyLAN, winning by a commanding 2-0 score against the Swiss-Germans of Team Genetix!

Turning the page - The end of Hearthstone at Lausanne Esports

It was with a heavy heart that we announced the end of our Hearthstone adventure. After several years of loyal service, we've taken the tough decision to withdraw from Blizzard's card game. The competitive format and the lack of competitions in Switzerland were decisive factors in our decision to pull out.

Once again, we would like to thank all the people who have been part of this team and who have always shown their love for the jersey.

Pop culture takes over the Tuilière Stadium

This year saw the launch of our brand new concept: Jeu'Di! The Jeu'Di are a series of events combining competition and fun in the sublime setting of the G-Bar at the Tuilière stadium.

Over the course of the year, we were able to set up a recurring Super Smash Bros: Ultimate tournament, as well as various card game competitions. Yu-Gi-oh!, Magic: The Gathering, Wixoss and Marvel Snap were all featured during the Jeu'Di.

After spending the first half of the year at the steady pace of a weekly event, we've changed the recipe to a fortnightly event so as not to run out of steam too soon.

We can't wait to bring you the next evolution of Jeu'Di, which we expect to see in the next few months.

Our first pro player - Supahsemmie

We will also have achieved a major milestone in the development of our club: the recruitment of Supahsemmie. Supahsemmie is a Dutch player from Young Link on the Super Smash Bros: Ultimate game. His presence alongside our Swiss players will enable us to move up a gear on the European stage!

A second star - IamTLT

A second pro player has joined our ranks, bringing Teamfight Tactics back under our banner. His participation in the HexLeague and the Vegas Open will give us an even wider reach beyond Switzerland's borders. IamTLT is set to get off to a flying start in 2024, taking part in the GSC on the first weekend of the new season!

The HexLeague, the Vegas Open and the GSC are various official competitions of the game Teamfight Tactics. IamTLT has participated (and will participate) in all these competitions.

The blue odyssey at Tera

Tera was an SSBU tournament that enabled us to bring together an impressive delegation from Lausanne. This epic journey was immortalised in a documentary produced by DashStudio, who helped us cover our adventure in the media.

The ultimate coronation - FER 2023

Our League of Legends team will have ended the year just as it began: with a title! Under the brilliant leadership of MotoMoto and the swiftness of our new middle lane player: Vango. Our team will have established itself as the champions of Romandy.

After spending a whole year together, we'd like to reiterate our thanks to Bobby1 and Firweer, who have been part of our LoL team for the whole of this year.

A new year approaches - 2024

Here we are at the dawn of a new year, which will also be full of new things. We wish you all the very best for the festive season, and hope your wishes come true. We look forward to seeing you in 2024 for even more Esports!
